DarkRP Server Rules

Basic Rules

- No random death-match.

- Do not break nlr (new life rule), don’t go back to the place where you died for 5 minutes.

- Do not randomly arrest players without a valid reason (e.g jaywalking or walking on sidewalks)

- No prop minge, (pushing props and/or cameras into peoples bases, getting players stuck, etc) (1 week ban)

- As a hobo, you may play music if people pay to request it, however you may not mic spam or use earrape type music only normal music.

- No protecting other players unless they’re in your Party/gang.

- No demoting players without a valid reason. (/demote)

- No involving staff on duty with RP. (staff cannot base while on duty, but they can base while not on duty, staff do not have to delete their base if they’re quickly taking a sit)

- No roleplay allowed in spawn.

- No prop spam, (results in a 1 month ban.)

- No crashing the server (results in a permanent ban)

- No pushing players that are sitting on props to glitch them under the map or into a base, (results in a 1 week ban)

- No using admin chat without a valid problem and/or question.

- No impersonating players or staff or pretending to be staff on duty.

- You may not switch jobs to avoid cooldowns e.g switching from kidnapper to terrorist to avoid kidnap cooldown.

- Do not abuse the sit addon. (eg sitting to avoid death).

- Your printers (raidables) must be collectable at all times, do not block raiders from collecting your raidables by using props.

- You can not place printer(s) in walls etc even with visible screens, the whole printer must be visible to the raiders.

General Rules

- No sexism (includes making inappropriate comments to the other gender.) , racism, discrimination, bigotry.

- No disrespect, please be as respectful as possible to other people.

- No advertising other gmod servers, discord servers or websites.

- No hacking, scripting or using cheats of any kind. (Will result in a permanent ban)

- No leaving to avoid punishment. (LTAP)

- No scamming, self supplying (unless there are no otherdealers online).

- You must advert carjack before stealing another players Go-Kart

- You must advert Kidnaps, Mugs, PD raids, Party Raids, (you do not have to advert for solo raids and you can only have party raid with a max of 4 people and other party members must advert assist)

- No offensive names, racist, sexism insulting towards people.

- No pornography of any kind.

- Don’t ask players to place a hit on a specific person (you will be warned for FailRP)

- If you are being mugged and you did not have a weapon equipped, you have to comply with the mugger. Not doing so e.g. choosing to die is considered failrp.

- You can advert “counter” to counter any RP event. You do not have to advert counter to defend a group member if you are in a party/gang

- Don’t ask staff members or other people to look at your staff app or give it a +1 (your staff app will be instantly denied)

- Bitcoin is a legal means of making money unless stated otherwise in the laws.

- If you want to steal something from another player, you must advert “steal”. You can kill the person who you are robbing during this but they can also kill you.

- No earrape even as a hobo, only mic spamming is allowed.

Gang Rules

- You may defend people who are in your gang, (You do not need to advert counter or gang defense)

- NLR does not apply when taking over territories.

- You may not use the precision tool to push your gang printer into a wall.

- You may kill other players if they enter the zones. (past the red lines)

-You may not kill players from outside the zone if they are capturing territories

Care Package Rules

- You must wait until the care package drops before killing anyone.

- You may not kill people outside the drop zone. (outside the red lines)

- NLR Does not apply during care package drops.

Purge Rules

- Government officials may not participate in the purge and must wait in the PD until the purge is over.

- Government officials cannot be harmed during the purge (you will be warned for failrp/rdm)

- You may not kill anyone during the 5 minute warning time.

- All weapons are allowed to be used during the purge. (Including explosives)

- NLR Does not apply during the purge.

- You may not raid the PD during the purge.

Raiding Rules

- You cannot change jobs during a raid.

- You cannot raid a base that has a building sign. (this includes hits)

- You cannot use drugs during a raid (e.g cocaine)

- You cannot kill players in a base and then advert raid after (this is failrp/rdm)

- All weapons are allowed to be used for raiding (However no explosives)

- You may not use explosives to defend your base.

- You can not destroy someone's valuables without collecting them first, this is considered a fail raid

- You must wait 10 minutes before raiding someone or 20 minutes if you're raiding the same person

- If you die whilst defending a raid, you can return and defend your base after the 5 minute NLR time.

- Police cannot break NLR to defend the PD from raids.

- If you see a raid going on, leave the area until it is done. If you get caught in the crossfire it is not considered rdm

- Your friend(s) must advert assist if you're adverting party raid (you can have a max of 4 people during a party raid)

- If you are solo raiding and someone wants to join they must advert assist after you advert raid.

- You can only raid for 15 minutes before you must leave that base

- You cannot spawn kill during the purge.- You cannot spawn kill during the purge.

Government Rules

- You cannot own a base, you may only live in the PD.

- You are only allowed to build in the PD.

- If you are building in the PD you can only have a building sign for 30 minutes.

- You are allowed to make checkpoints as long as you don't block the road

- You cannot run at people with your baton.

- You can only place warrants if you have a valid reason

- You cannot abuse people while they are in prison by killing them. (this is considered rdm)

- You cannot stun stick abuse.

- You cannot place hits.

- You cannot break NLR to defend PD Raids.

- Government officials may have max bail of 500k.

- You can’t place laws unless you are the mayor.

- The laws have to be above the PD so everyone can see.

- There are 5 main laws you can follow if there is no mayor, Raiding/Mugging/Kidnapping/Money Priners is AOS/KOS

- AOS/KOS Shooting another person (unless it's self defense) AOS/KOS if you have printers or drugs.

- You cannot block or close the first door for the PD in any way.

- You cannot own any illegals (printers drugs etc.) The mayor may own illegals in the PD bank.

- You must put a sign inside the PD to arrest people (e.g AOS/KOS past the first door)

- You cannot put a KOS/AOS on someone on the law board.

- During the lockdown, anyone found outside is AOS.

- You can not make KOS / AOS on street/sidewalk rules, and you can not make jaywalking illegal.

Mugging Rules

- Mugging wait time is 15 minutes.

- Maximum Mug is 50k. The minimum KOS time is 10 seconds.

- You cannot mug more than one person at once

- The person has to be standing in front of you so you can mug them.

- You cannot follow them around trying to stop him and saying you are mugging them.

- You can't advert mug while chasing someone then kill them, (This is considered RDM)

- You cannot mug someone if they're holding a gun.

Kidnapping Rules

- Kidnapping wait time is 15 minutes

- Maximum kidnapping ransom is 300k

- You can not hold someone captive for longer than 30 minutes

- You must advert kidnap

- When kidnapped, fear RP applies

Job Rules

Citizen Jobs

- You cannot raid, mug, or kidnap.

- You cannot own illegals.

- You can only base with other citizen jobs

Pet Jobs

- You cannot mug, raid or kidnap.

- You can only own knives.

- You are allowed to put a barking noise or something on your mic for 3 sec only to roleplay.

- You can only base with your owner.

- You may help defend your owners base using a knife only.

Fun Jobs

- You cannot raid, mug, and kidnap

- You cannot own illegals.

- You can only use pistols and the weapons provided to you

Merchant Jobs (Dealers)

- You cannot raid, mug, or kidnap.

- You can own any weapon.

- You can own illegals.

- You must sell items for money (Guns, Vapes, Black Market Items, etc)

- you can not scam (taking money and not providing.)

- You cannot go AFK as any merchant job (staff will demote you)

- You can only self-supply if there are no other dealers online

Thief

- You can raid, mug and counter.

- You can own any weapon.

- You can own illegals.

- You can raid with other people (They must advert assist)

Mob Boss

- You can raid, mug and counter.

- You can own any weapon.

- You can own illegals.

- You can only raid with other people (They must advert assist)

Bloods Member

- You can raid, mug and counter.

- You can own any weapon.

- You can own illegals.

You may KOS the crips at any time

You can only raid and base with other bloods members and the bloods leader. (They must advert assist)

Bloods Leader

- You can raid, mug and counter.

- You can own any weapon.

- You can own illegals.

- You may KOS the crips at any time.

- You can only raid and base with other bloods members.

Crips Member

- You can raid, mug and counter.

- You can own any weapon.

- You can own illegals.

- You may KOS the bloods at any time

- You can only raid and base with other crips members and the crips leader (They must advert assist)

Crips Leader

- You can raid, mug and counter.

- You can own any weapon.

- You can own illegals.

- You may KOS the bloods at any time.

- You can only raid and base with other crips members. (They must advert assist)

Black Market Dealer

- You cannot raid, mug, or counter

- You can own any weapon.

- You can own illegals.

- You can sell black market items for money

Stripper

- You cannot raid, mug, or counter.

- You can own any weapon.

- You can own illegals.

- You can dance for money.

Hitman

- You can only raid if you have a hit, you can't mug or counter.

- You can own any weapon.

- You can own illegals.

- You can accept hits from players and make money.

- You must wait 15 minutes before accepting a hit on the same person.

- You must advert hit accepted/hit over when accepting/completing a hit.

- You cannot raid someone to complete a hit if they have a building sign.

Assassin

- You can only raid if you have a hit, you can't mug or counter.

- You can own any weapon.

- You can own illegals.

- You can accept hits from players and make money.

- You must wait 15 minutes before accepting a hit on the same person.

- You must advert hit accepted/hit over when accepting/completing a hit.

- You cannot raid someone to complete a hit if they have a building sign.

Hobo leader

- You are the leader of the hobos

- You can only own pistols and shotguns.

- You cannot own illegals.

- You can beg people for money.

Hobo

- You follow the hobo leader.

- You can only own pistols and shotguns.

- You cannot own illegals.

- You can beg people for money.

Medic

- You cannot raid, mug, or counter.

- You can own any weapons.

- You cannot own illegals.

-You can heal people for money.

Security Guard

- You cannot raid, mug, or counter.

- You can only use the shotgun provided to you.

- You cannot own illegals.

- You protect the bank from being robbed.

Bank Manager

- You cannot raid, mug, or kidnap.

- You can own any weapons.

- You cannot own illegals.

Terrorist

- You can raid, mug, and counter.

- You can own any weapons or bombs.

- You can own illegals.

- Must advert terror before killing others.

- The global cooldown for terror is 30 minutes.

- Your terror cannot exceed 3 minutes.

- You can terror with guns or explosives
